When we go on a trip our makeup gets a
deal a little harder than normal, especially if we have to document
it. That's why we leave these 5 tips to pack everything in the best way
possible.
1. The dust
Fortunately it is something we can
bring in the bag, but if for some reason you think you can get it to break
simply place a cotton pad over the dust to protect it.
2. The base
All liquids, but especially those that
come in containers that are tightened, can form air bubbles when you get them
on the plane. Has it happened that you arrive at your destination, open
the makeup and explode? It is because the air is at the bottom of the
container and the liquid above. To avoid pulling during the flight open the
container, place a piece of plastic (from a super bag, for example) over the
opening and replace the lid. When you reach your destination hit the
bottle against a piece of furniture (with the opening up) so that the contents
are rearranged and the air is back up again.
3. What you do not want to document
Traveling two days to the beach may
sound like an excellent break, but if you are not going to document your
suitcase you may run into the difficulty of the sunscreen. Most of these
containers are too large to carry in your carry-on bag, but buying one that you
have to throw on the beach sounds ridiculous. Better pour some blocker
into another container. If you have a great little bottle, but if not, you
can put it in contact lens cases or in a bottle like eye drops (clean and
empty). You can try this same technique with your make-up or even the
conditioner.
4. Close the shadows
One of the disasters that happen when
we wear makeup is that the shadows can be knocked open and pulled. Use
leagues to make sure your trowel is tightly closed (and will not open for
anything in the world while traveling).
5. Take advantage of samples
If you take a walk around the make-up
department of a large store you will surely get out of there with some kind of
free sample. They are perfect for traveling because they are the ideal
size and you will not care so much if something happens to them.
Always remember to put the liquids (and
I would recommend the powders too) in bags that close under pressure to prevent
them from throwing and staining your suitcase.
